E.ON moves to V17, aided by CBRE

In what it says is the largest tenant move in the Budapest office market thus far this year, a total of 600 employees of energy provider E.ON Hungária Zrt. have moved into the V17 office building on Váci út, taking up their new workplace in three weekends from the end of August, supported by a CBRE project management team, the commercial real estate company said in a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal today.

The shape of the layout meets the requirements of the actual trends and the office building is characterized by functional space utilization, CBRE stressed. “The colors of the office spaces and the interior, designed by Archiflex Studio, fully meet modern expectations and provide E.ON employees with a suitable working environment in the long run,” the press statement noted.

During the construction of the offices, the expectations of E.ON on sustainability were all fulfilled; the lighting is provided by warm light LEDs, and natural light also plays a significant role, CBRE said. It added that E.ON supports all forms of environment-friendly transportation; visitors and employees arriving via electric car can charge their vehicles with fast charging equipment in the underground garage where 90 bike racks, locker rooms, and showers are also available for cyclists.

CBRE’s project management team has been expanded to five experts, with the E.ON move the largest project it has handled in recent years, according to the press statement. CBRE’s team supervised the selection of the subcontractors, cost management, liaised between the interior designers and the client, and arranged the entire moving process, the announcement added.
