It is close to the M6 and M7 motorways, which make long-distance travel and transport easier. Sárbogárd's intercity bus service provides access to the town from the surrounding towns of county status, Győr and neighbouring settlements; there is also a local bus service. One of the options for the construction of the M8 motorway is that the motorway would also pass through Sárbogárd.


Sárbogárd is a developing area and therefore highly subsidised, offering many opportunities for investors in terms of both labour and land development. The unemployment rate is highest in the southern part of the county, in the districts of Sárbogárd and Enying. However, the region has been developing steadily in recent years.
